SIMPSONS FANTASY V

Inside the Simpsons House, LISA and MAGGIE are talking in LISA's Bedroom.

LISA: Damn it! I dont know what to show tommorow for Show and Tell!
MAGGIE: You still cant decide? I decided ages ago!
LISA: Oh yeah? What did you decide to take to school then?
MAGGIE: My sword. What else?
LISA: Principal Skinner would never allow that in the building!
MAGGIE: Lis, remember, I dont exactly carry it around all the time you know. I can summon it out of nothing.
LISA: Yeah, but that only works in Battle Mode.
MAGGIE: Thats the thing. I'd need your help for me to summon it.
LISA: In otherwords, you want me to go into battle with you using the Sisterhood?
MAGGIE: Pretty much, yeah.
LISA: Alright. It'll get me out of finding something to show.
MAGGIE: See. It works out for both of us.

The following day, BART, LISA and MAGGIE board the School Bus. BART notices that LISA nor MAGGIE have an item for Show and Tell.

BART: Say, werent you two supposed to have show and tell today?
MAGGIE: Yeah.
BART: Then where's your Show?
MAGGIE: Dont need it yet.
BART: Huh?
MAGGIE: The Blades, Bart
BART: Oh right. I gotcha.

BART leaves LISA and MAGGIE to talk to themselves while he goes over to sit with NELSON and MILHOUSE.

In the Second Grade Classroom. All the Students including ALLISON, JANEY, LISA, MAGGIE and RALPH are sitting in their seats, everyone except LISA and MAGGIE has an item on their desk, RALPH has a brown bag with blood dripping from the bottom.

MISS. HOOVER: Alright class, it's time for show and tell. I see all of you brought something in.

MISS. HOOVER then spots that LISA has nothing.

MISS. HOOVER: Lisa, you didnt bring anything in? I'm surprised.
LISA: That's where you're wrong Miss. Hoover. I did.
MISS. HOOVER: Then where is it?
MAGGIE: It wouldnt be worth showing if you knew what it was right off the bat.
MISS. HOOVER: I'm intregued. Then why dont you come up first?
MAGGIE: Okay.

LISA and MAGGIE get up to the front of the class. MAGGIE turns to MISS. HOOVER.

MAGGIE: We'll need to borrow your tape player Miss. Hoover.
MISS. HOOVER: What for?
MAGGIE: It's part of our presentation.
MISS. HOOVER: Well alright.

MISS. HOOVER pulls out her tape player from the cupboard. MAGGIE gets a tape out from her pocket and sets it in and plays it. The Battle Track from Final Fantasy IX plays on it.

MAGGIE: Ready Lis?
LISA: Ready.

LISA and MAGGIE take possitions on the opposite ends of the room.

MAGGIE: Lets go!

There is a bright flash around LISA and MAGGIE's right hands. The Sisterhood appears in LISA's hand, while the Maggie Blade appears in MAGGIE's hand, they take attacking stances, for about five minutes the two have a sparing match. Lisa occationally uses her Black Magic.

BOSS: LISA SIMPSON (Party: Maggie)

CLASS: Woah!
MISS. HOOVER: Okay, that'll do. Was that what you wanted to show us?
MAGGIE: Actually, no. That little show was simply required so that we could get what we wanted into the building!
MISS. HOOVER: And those would be your swords I'd imagine?
MAGGIE: Yeah.
MISS. HOOVER: Okay, mind telling us a little about them?
MAGGIE: No problem. Lisa, why dont you go first?
LISA: Okay. My sword here is called "The Sisterhood", when in Gaia, the man who had adopted Maggie gave it to me after he saw that my Sax was getting rather dented from fighting hordes of monsters. It allows me to perform all sorts of abilities, but not the ones that I used just now on Maggie.
MISS. HOOVER: What would these abilities be Lisa?
LISA: They are quite physical actually. Maggie, would you mind being my opponent?
MAGGIE: Of course not Lis, I can always use Cura.

LISA uses Spiral Cut on MAGGIE.

LISA: That was called Spiral Cut. That's the weakest of the four abilities the Sisterhood lets me use. The strongest Blitz Ace is a little hard to pull off in here.
MISS. HOOVER: This turning into quite an impressive show. Then why dont we go off into the Playground to give you two more room for your demonstrations?

The class follow MISS. HOOVER out onto the Playground.

CLASS: LI-SA! LI-SA! LI-SA!

In the Fourth Grade Classroom, BART is watching MRS. KRABAPPEL write some stuff on the blackboard looking bored. He then looks out the window to see LISA and MAGGIE sparing against each other. MRS. KRABAPPEL turns to the window.

MRS. KRABAPPEL: What is going on out there?!
MILHOUSE: Why that's Lisa's Class.
TODD: But what are they doing out there.
NELSON: It looks like Lisa and Maggie are sparing?
MRS. KRABAPPEL: Bart, do you know what they are doing?
BART: I dont know. But I'll go find out.

BART opens the window and then jumps out running up to the second grade class.

BART: Hey, what's going on?
LISA: Bart! What are you doing here?
BART: I came to see what you guys were up to.
MISS: HOOVER: Does Mrs. Krabappel know you're out here?
BART: Sure. In fact, my whole class is watching right now.

MISS. HOOVER looks up at the fourth grade window signalling MRS. KRABAPPEL.

MRS. KRABAPPEL: It's okay! I sent Bart out there!
MISS. HOOVER: Okay then. Lisa and Maggie were just about to give us a demonstration of Blitz Ace.

BART turns to LISA

BART: Lis, dont you need two people to pull that off?
LISA: Yeah. So this is actually good timing. Bart, would you mind being our opponent in this round?
BART: YOU WANNA USE IT ON ME?!
LISA: Well, I cant ask Maggie, her HP isnt exactly in a great state after I used Spiral Cut on her.
BART: Then let her use Cura.
MAGGIE: It turns out that the Mako was what enabled me to use White Magic, so I cant use Cura anymore, all I have left are the Sword Tech abilities.
BART: Alright. I'll help you out.

BART turns to the Fourth Grade class room.

BART: MILHOUSE! I need my slingshot! Can you throw it down!

MILHOUSE raids BART's desk and finds his slingshot and throws it down to BART.

MILHOUSE: Here you go Bart.

BART catches the Slingshot, and takes his Battle stance against LISA and MAGGIE.

BART: Okay, show me what you got!

BOSS: BART SIMPSON (Party: Lisa, Maggie)
----------------------------------------------

LISA: BLITZ ACE!

LISA swings her Sisterhood in front of her from left to right then runs up to BART slashing him six times, she then does two summersaults attacking BART midway through each. She then plants her Sisterhood into the ground and leaps off it into the air above MAGGIE. She does a 270 degree spin, MAGGIE then throws LISA a Soccer Ball, LISA kicks it at BART. LISA finishes the final part of the spin then lands on the ground collecting the Sisterhood and takes her attacking stance next to MAGGIE. BART falls to the ground.

LISA: Ta-da!
2ND GRADE CLASS: Woah!
MISS. HOOVER: Bart, are you okay? Do you need to see the nurse?
BART: No, I'm fine.
MISS. HOOVER: Are you sure?
BART: Yeah. I just never expected her to be that powerful.
LISA: Sorry Bart. Maybe I should've went a little easier on you.
BART: Now I know how those monsters in Gaia felt.
MISS HOOVER: Thank you Bart. You can return to class now.
LISA: I'll take him back.
MISS HOOVER: Thank you Lisa. We should all return to Class.

LISA aids BART back to the Fourth Grade class room. In the second grade class room, MAGGIE takes the front again.

MISS. HOOVER: While we're waiting for Lisa, Maggie, why dont you tell us a little about your own weapon.
MAGGIE: Alright.

Cut away to BART and LISA.

LISA: Sorry I was rough on you out there Bart.
BART: Hah! You kiddin' not many people are gonna be messin with you for a while if you know what I mean...

BART opens the door to the Fourth Grade classroom where everyone looks at them. NELSON then starts to clap his hands as everyone in the class soon follows.

NELSON: Way to put on a show, Lisa!
LISA: Awww... shucks.
MRS. KRABAPPEL: That's enough class. Lisa, you'd better get back to your own classroom. Take your seat Bart, take it easy.

We cut back to the Second Grade Classroom.

MAGGIE: Well, I got the blade from a man named Locke Cole when I was about five, shortly before then when I was about four, he took me to Midgar to see Professor Hojo who injected me with Mako, which boosted my strength and enabled me to use White Magic, such as the Cura spell Lisa and I were mentioning earlier. Until I was able to hold the Maggie Blade, I used a pair of Daggers called Mage Mashers.
MISS. HOOVER: Why did you trade the daggers for the sword?
MAGGIE: Swords are more powerful than Daggers in Gaia most of the time. Some people can be more effective with them, but I was simply just too young at the time to be able to hold a sword so Locke compromised and gave me daggers until I was old enough.

LISA walks into the room.

MISS. HOOVER: Welcome back Lisa. Maggie, is that all you got for us?
MAGGIE: Yeah. Pretty much.
MISS. HOOVER: Well then, thank you both for the wonderful presentation. Who would be willing to go next?

Later that Night.

BART walks into the Living room where HOMER and LISA are watching MAGGIE play a video game of FINAL FANTASY IV. CECIL is with KAIN as they leave the Castle Baron, to the Prolouge track of Final Fantasy IV. MAGGIE plays CECIL and KAIN through the Mist Cave, where they fight the MIST DRAGON.

BOSS: MIST DRAGON (Party: Cecil, Kain)
----------------------------------------------

LISA: Hey, Maggie, what game you playing now?
MAGGIE: Final Fantasy IV.
LISA: What happened to VI?
MAGGIE: Meh. I got bored with it. I could'nt find Death Gaze in the World of Ruin.
MARGE: (From the Kitchen) DINNER'S READY!

HOMER eagily gets off the couch and runs into the kitchen, BART and LISA walk into the kitchen while MAGGIE saves her game, then follows them. In the Kitchen, HOMER is eating rather much like an animal, BART too. MARGE, LISA and MAGGIE are actually eating properly.

MARGE: So kids, how did show and tell go?
MAGGIE: Great.
LISA: We got A's.
MARGE: What did you show?
MAGGIE: The Maggie Blade
LISA: and the Sisterhood.
MAGGIE: We breifly talked about how we got them.
BART: Maggie, you never told US how you got the Maggie Blade.
MAGGIE: I havent?
HOMER: Nope.
LISA: Not other than Locke giving it to you. Tell us the story.
MAGGIE: Well, you know how it started, a few months ago...

The screen fades to white, and then back to normal again. MARGE is carrying MAGGIE in her arms, (MAGGIE is in her traditional blue baggie with her red pacfier) in PROFESSOR FRINK'S house.

MARGE: Professor, I wouldnt normally ask you to babysit Maggie, but it's parents night and I cant find a real sitter!
FRINK: It's no problem my dear Marge, she can help me test my new Baby play center!
MARGE: Thanks Professor. Now you be a good girl Maggie!

MARGE kisses MAGGIE on the cheek then hands her to Professor FRINK. MARGE then leaves with HOMER. FRINK places MAGGIE in a room with the RIFT PORTAL, then leaves. MAGGIE looks at the control panel to the Rift Portal which she is able to reach for some reason, she giggles then presses the buttons randomly. Inside, a bunch of swirling colours appear. With a smile on her face, MAGGIE walks in for a closer look, after a few seconds, there is a bright flash as MAGGIE disappears.

MAGGIE arrives in an open field in Gaia. MAGGIE takes a look around when all of a sudden a GOBLIN appears out of nothing.

BOSS: GOBLIN (Party: Maggie)
----------------------------------------------

MAGGIE is unable to hit the GOBLIN which is at least three times as big as she is. MAGGIE cowers, as the GOBLIN is about to attack her, the GOBLIN is struck by a Thunder spell, it dies. MAGGIE looks puzzled. A tall guy runs up with a bandana around his head.

????: That was close. Are you alright?
MAGGIE: Hmmm?
????: What's a little baby like you doing way out here?

MAGGIE shrugs.

????: So uh... what's your name?

MAGGIE removes her pacifier.

MAGGIE: Magga.
????: Magga?

MAGGIE shakes her head. Then pulls out a label on the back of her baggie, and points towards it.

????: "Property of Maggie Simpson"

MAGGIE nods.

????: So your name is Maggie?

MAGGIE nods again.

????: My name is Locke.
MAGGIE: Look?
LOCKE: Heh. That's cute. Close enough. Where's your Mommy and Daddy, Maggie?

MAGGIE looks around, then shrugs.

LOCKE: Then how did you get here if you dont know where your Mommy and Daddy are?

MAGGIE shrugs again.

LOCKE: Well, dont you worry. I'll help you find them.  

MAGGIE nods. LOCKE picks MAGGIE up and then walks over to a Green Haired woman.

????: Hey Locke.

???? Notices MAGGIE.

????: And who's this?
LOCKE: She was about to get attacked by some Goblins.
????: Ooooh. We cant have that on such a cute little girl! So what's your name?
MAGGIE: Magga.
LOCKE: (whispers into ????'s ear) It's Maggie.
????: Maggie? Well isn't that a cute name! My name is Terra.
MAGGIE: Tina?
TERRA: That's so cute!
LOCKE: I thought you would be better with her than I would Terra. She doesnt know where her parents are.
TERRA: Well then, we had better help her look. Dali is just over there, why dont we start there?
LOCKE: Good idea.
TERRA: What do you say Maggie?

MAGGIE giggles in agreement.

MAGGIE, LOCKE and TERRA walk into Dali.

LOCKE: How do we go about looking for Maggie's parents?
TERRA: I suppose all we can really do is split up.
LOCKE: True, but we have no photos of her.
TERRA: Touche. Lets look around together then.

LOCKE and TERRA take MAGGIE around town, asking her questions of if she recognises anything, but shakes her head.

LOCKE: So they're not in Dali huh?

MAGGIE nods.

LOCKE: Can you give us any form of a clue. Can you speak your hometown?

MAGGIE: Spingfa.
LOCKE: Spingfa? Never heard of it.

MAGGIE shakes her head again.

TERRA: I know why dont we show her a map of Gaia?
MAGGIE: Hmm?
TERRA: What is it Maggie? Can you not read?

MAGGIE shakes her head.

TERRA: Bummer. So what else can we do?
LOCKE: I suppose, that since her parents arent anywhere to be found. We could adopt her. At least until she can tell us where she's from?
TERRA: I agree. We should take her to Baron.
LOCKE: Okay Maggie. Because we cant find your Mommy and Daddy, Terra and I are going to take care of you from now on. Okay?

MAGGIE nods. Smiling.

LOCKE: It's probably too dangerous to take her through the Ice Cavern, too cold. I'll go through there alone, why dont you take her to Narshe for the time being? I'll catch up with you in a few days.
TERRA: Alright.

TERRA trances into her Esper form. MAGGIE cowers.

LOCKE: It's okay Maggie. It's still Terra, she's just become an Esper.
MAGGIE: Eper?
LOCKE: She's able to fly now. Terra will take you to Narshe, you'll stay with her for a few days okay? I'll see you soon.
MAGGIE: Oookay.

LOCKE hands MAGGIE to TERRA who flies off in the direction of Narshe. LOCKE leaves Dali and heads for the Ice Cavern. We cut back to Springfield.

BART: That was rather quick, for Locke to just quit searching like that.
MAGGIE: If it doesnt involve stealing stuff, or fighting. He gives up rather quickly. He finds searching for people boring. I suppose it did help that wasnt able to read or talk though as he might have freaked out or something had I been able to say I was from Springfield.
LISA: That's a good point, Springfield had been in ruins for many years, even when we arrived, at least several hundred.
MAGGIE: So anyway, where was I?
BART: You were telling us how you got the Maggie Blade.
