Hmm.. merging a feature from Kingdom Hearts 2 into a Final Fantasy based game... I'm assuming that when you use drive in this game, the time bar would always remain fully charged until the form runs out? (kind of like when Terra changes into the esper in FFVI for example)
If that wasn't implementable, which it most like wasn't be in a 2D game, then yeah, Terra's method would be a decent compromise.
(And I'll bet it's annoying to you that it's spelled "valor" in the US instead of "valour", right? XD)
I did actually do designs for Maggie to fuse with Homer and Marge (Final Form for Homer, Wisdom form for Marge, but I never implemented those into the story)
Boy do I feel moronic now.
